Description
Buddha belly bamboo is a species of bamboo which is native to Vietnam and to Guangdong province in southern China. The species is widely cultivated in subtropical regions around the world for the bulbous and ornamental culms.
It is probably the toughest of the tropical clumping bamboos. Buddha Belly Bamboo is a highly ornamental plant.
Growing Conditions:
Light Preference: Full Sunlight is best Bamboo’s growth but it can also grow in partly sun light.
Water: If the Buddha belly bamboo is in container then water deeply once or twice a week and let the soil dry between watering.
If the Buddha belly bamboo is in outdoor then water deeply once in a week.
Temperature: 22ºC
Soil: Buddha belly bamboo variegated develops in well-drained soil.
Fertilizer: Fed regularly with a high-nitrogen food or apply any organic fertilizer.
