Description
Balsam is also known as Balsam rose. Balsam plant belongs to the genus impatiens, which surely has lump sum 1000 species of flowering plants. Balsam resembles camellias or mini roses with thickly spaced petals and tones. The flowers of balsam bear double petals and appear in array of colours but partially hidden by big leaves.
The stem of balsam is soft, fleshy and spirally arranged big pointed leaves. The balsam plant is propagated by seed and it also generally reappears from self sown seeds in next year.
Growing Conditions:
Soil: It requires moist and well-drained soil.
Temperature: It needs 20 to 30 degree Celsius to survive.
Fertilizer: Apply any organic fertilizer.
