Description
Areca Palm is also known as Chrysalidocarpus lutescens and its one of the easiest palm to grow indoors. The foliage of Areca palm is evergreen with fine texture and yellow green in colour. It grows 6-10 inches every year but it goes up to 6-8 feet.
Areca palm’s long feather shaped fronds will add tropical feel to your house. It is propagated by seeds, by separating the suckers at base of mature plant.
Growing Conditions:
Soil: It requires moist and well-drained soil.
Temperature: It needs 20 to 30 degree Celsius to grow.
Fertilizer: Apply a palm fertilizer containing all the micronutrients and extra potassium and manganese.
Bloom Time: In late spring or early summer.
