Description
Golden cypress has drooping branches filled with scale-like foliage that resembles long threads. The foliage lights up the garden with it bright golden-green, almost chartreuse, color.
As with other conifers, this shrub does not produce flowers but will produce small round cones. Golden cypress is a slow-growing plant that can take 20 years to reach its mature size.
Growing Conditions
Light Preference: Full Sunlight is best to plant’s growth and blooming but it can also grow in partial sunlight.
Water: Give the tree a good soaking every week for the first few months. Cypress trees need water most in spring.
Temperature: 19ºC
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Fertilizer: Apply any organic fertilizer.
